Grazing effects on below and above ground ant faunas, and ant trophic levels Subterranean ant communities in Australia, and worldwide, are poorly known, and no studies have looked at how these ants are affected by grazing. My study will aim to test if the changes to vegetation structure caused by grazing has any effect on subterranean ant communities and if there are different effects on the above and below ground ant faunas. Additionally I will look at how grazing affects the trophic levels of particular species, using isotope analysis. |
